This book is a fast paced, gripping, action packed story. You will love team Archers, especially their strong FMC Claudia Church, who is willing to fight for what she wants and what is right, as well as catching the eye of a handsome stranger. Dark pasts catch up with key characters resulting in delightful tension, trying to work out who to trust. Looking forward to the next instalment already.

I loved the way the characters were introduced to us. Firstly, Claudia Church, former military personnel, now working with Archers, a predominantly female organisation – an underground tech and feisty team who are hired to ‘put stuff right’
Justin Riley heads up a similar organisation, Echo, again former military personnel, but mostly male.
The interaction between Church and Riley is great. No one trusts anyone, yet they’re working together, or are they? Who is always one step ahead?
And what’s this secret formula everyone wants?
Great interplay, action packed, difficult to put down. Fantastic ending…

I was recommended to read this book by a family member, and, after seeing some of the growing clamour about it online, I treated myself to a copy of the paperback version. What can I say, other than I'm very, very glad I did! From the first page to the last, I was engrossed by the fast-paced, weaving story. Some books it takes time to "get into", not so in this case. It's pure action from the start!
Claudia Church is Allardyce's female protagonist, a smart and slick operator who, along with her team, works as guns for hire to solve "problems" for corporate clients. And, my goodness, does her next client have a problem! Having stolen highly sensitive (and probably illegal) research from his employer, destroying all the backups in the process, the USB drive, which is now the only copy, has disappeared.
He needs it back, quick. His buyer isn't the kind of person you'd like to let down, and a lot of other people are very keen to get their hands on it too!
What follows is an exciting, action-packed tale that keeps you engrossed until the final page. You're never quite sure who to trust. It twists, it turns, and it's extremely hard to put down!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and would definitely recommend it. Also, were it to be made into a TV series, I'd binge-watch that too!

Loved this book, a real page turner and can’t wait for the next in the series. The story line will have you gripped wondering who is on the right side, keeping the suspense going to the end. The way the story unfolds you are willing team Archers and their lead Claudia Church on. Would make a gripping TV thriller.

Great debut novel, love all the characters and how we are introduced to them all at the start. The pace picks up and I was left wanting more of Claudia Church and the team. Why not pick up a copy and see for yourself.

This thriller was a refreshing change from the usual mould. Claudia Church is a truly kick-ass lead, sharp, fearless, and compelling from start to finish. The story kept me hooked and stood out from so many thrillers I have read. It felt original, fast-paced, and full of energy. I am ready for the sequel!

I loved this gripping thriller by a new author. You have to take your time to get to know the characters but once you do it's hard to stop turning the pages to find out what is going to happen next. Claudia is a strong independent woman who you instantly connect with and want to succeed. This book is action packed and keeps you guessing right up until the end.
